Nomad Stages

Nomad Stages is a children's theatre company and performing arts studio, offering music theatre, dance, drama, music, art, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) programs to children and adults in the Bay St. George area.  

Nomad Stages has also expanded into Music Therapy and other Creative Arts Therapies. 

LouAnn Davis is a teacher with 18-years teaching experience, and has taught in both music and primary / elementary classrooms.  She has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Music Therapy from Acadia University, and a Bachelor of Education from St. Thomas University, and a Masters of Education from Mount Saint Vincent University.  She has directed numerous children's productions.  She started Mustang Productions, a school-based drama club, in 2017.  She also directed the Mustang Productions' Show Pony Choir in 2018 - current.  She has been involved in music and theatre for many years. She is the Director and Owner of Nomad Stages. 

 

Andrew Perry teaches Acting, Voice, Musical Theatre Dance and Tap. He is the director of our Triple Threat and Acting Programs.  He directs and choreographs many of our Musical Theatre productions. He hails from Ontario and is a professional actor with a Masters in Musical Theatre! You will also see in on the stage during the summer with the Stephenville Theatre Festival. We are so happy he is part of our family and can share his expertise with our students!

Anastasiia Rudenko teaches Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern Ballet, Parterre Gymnastics, Commercial Dance, and Latin Ballroom. Anna is the Director of our Dance Program. Anna is a professional dancer with a Masters degree is Dance. Anastasiia has joined our family all the way from Ukraine! She has performed on cruise ships all around the world, and we are so lucky to have her at Nomad Stages!

Alba Chen teaches Voice, Music Theory and Ear Training, and directs Youth and Choir Choirs.  She is also our Musical Director for our Musical Theatre Productions. Alba is the Director of our Music Programs.  Alba is originally from China and recently completed her Masters in Choral Conducting from Memorial University! She is also a professional performer, with a background in voice, piano, acting and Classical Chinese Dance.

Amanda Benoit started out as a student at Nomad Stages, and we are thrilled that she has now joined our teaching staff! She teaches Fundamental Tap and Early and Beginner Dance Classes.  She has been a valuable member of our staff since 2021 and is Newfoudland born and bred! You have probably seen Amanda working at our Front Desk and keeping our studio clean and tidy! 

Kateryna Syrodenko is our Art and Costume Design instructor. She also teaches Fundamental Ballet and Jazz classes, as well as Make-up design. Kat is also our on-site costume designer and works at our Front Desk. She hails from Ukraine and studied at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. Kateryna also plans and facilitates our birthday parties and other special events. (Book your party today!)

Candace McFatridge is our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) instructor!  This hands-on class teaches students to love Science!  Candace has a background in the Oil and Technology field and we are thrilled that she has now joined us in a full time capacity as our Front Desk Receptionist. She will be there to help you register for classes, buy the gear you need, and answer your questions. 

Roman Rudenko teaches our Hip Hop class, as well as our group and private Acro classes! Roman is a professional dancer from Ukraine, and has performed all around the world with Anastasiia.  He is also a certified personal trainer and has a Masters degree is dance.
